Der "Panoramic" brachte dem Unternehmen eine Zunahme von über einer Million Reisenden. 1982 verkehrte bereits eine zweite Komposition, 1985 kam der "Super Panoramic", der zum "Golden Panoramic" umgebaut wurde, und 1993 wurde der "Crystal Panoramic" lanciert - dessen futuristische Form wurde entworfen von Pinin Farina.
